What PornMeter is
PornMeter is an independent directory that ranks 1,329 adult sites across 44 categories. Every site in the directory gets the same treatment: a weekly automated crawl, a scripted real-browser test and a fixed scoring formula that produces the Meter Score you see on every page. We built PornMeter because most “best porn sites” lists are ordered by whoever pays the most. Ours is ordered by measurements. Nobody on the team can manually move a site up or down, and no site can buy a position — the ranking changes only when the underlying measurements change.
Who runs it
PornMeter is run by a small editorial and engineering team. The engineers maintain the crawler, the browser-test harness and the scoring pipeline; the editorial side writes and maintains the reviews on top of that measured data. We keep the team page anonymous — this is the adult industry — but everything the team publishes follows the rules in our editorial policy.
How the site is funded
