What PornMeter hosts
PornMeter hosts its own written reviews, rankings, data, page design and small identification assets (such as favicons, logos and reduced screenshots used to identify reviewed websites). PornMeter does not host the videos or galleries shown on third-party websites. If you found infringing video or image content, it is hosted on the third-party site itself — send your notice to that site's designated process, usually linked in its footer. Notices about third-party content sent to PornMeter cannot remove that content from the internet.
Valid copyright notice
To report material on a pornmeter.com page that you believe infringes your copyright, email dmca@pornmeter.com with all of the following:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- the exact PornMeter URL and a description of the allegedly infringing material;
- your contact details (name, address, email);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Processing
PornMeter reviews sufficiently complete copyright notices promptly and takes action where required by applicable law. Incomplete notices are returned with a description of what is missing. Knowingly material misrepresentation in a notice may make you liable for damages under applicable law.
Counter-notice
If material you published was removed due to a notice and you believe the removal was mistaken, you may send a counter-notice to dmca@pornmeter.com containing: your signature; identification of the removed material and its former location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable court. Where the law provides, material may be restored if the original claimant does not initiate court action within the statutory window.
