Who we are
PornMeter ("we") operates pornmeter.com, an adult website review and ranking platform. For all privacy matters, contact privacy@pornmeter.com.
What we collect
PornMeter has no user accounts, no comments and no newsletter, so the data we process is limited to:
- Server and security logs. IP address, requested URL, HTTP request information, user agent and approximate country, kept for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
- Language preference. A small cookie storing your chosen site language.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage — pages visited, approximate location, device class. See the cookie policy for details.
- Affiliate click records. When you use an outbound link through our redirect, we record the time, the clicked site, the referring page, your IP address and user agent for commission accounting and fraud prevention. No name, email or account identity is attached — we do not have those.
- Correspondence. If you email us, we keep the message and address for as long as needed to handle the request, including legal and DMCA requests.
We do not sell personal information and do not run third-party advertising networks on PornMeter.
Purposes and legal bases
We process this data to operate and secure the site (legitimate interests), to measure aggregate usage and improve content (consent or legitimate interests, depending on your jurisdiction), to account for affiliate commissions and prevent click fraud (legitimate interests / performance of contracts with partners), and to comply with legal obligations.
Recipients and processors
Data is processed by our hosting provider, by Cloudflare (CDN and security) and by Google (analytics). Affiliate networks receive click events through tracking parameters, not your identity. We may disclose information where required by law.
International transfers
Our infrastructure and processors may store data outside your country, including in the European Economic Area and the United States. Where required, transfers rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses implemented by our processors.
Retention
Server and security logs are rotated automatically on a short cycle. Affiliate click records are kept for the period needed for commission accounting and fraud review. Correspondence is kept as long as the matter requires. Analytics data follows the retention settings of the analytics tool.
Security
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, access to infrastructure is restricted, and the volume of collected data is deliberately kept minimal — the best protected data is data that is never collected.
Children
PornMeter is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 or over (or the applicable higher age of majority). We do not knowingly collect information from minors. See the adults-only policy.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, request portability, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Use the privacy choices page or email privacy@pornmeter.com. We may need to verify your request; note that for most visitors we hold no data that identifies you by name.
European Economic Area privacy rights
If you are in the EEA, the rights above apply under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where processing rests on legitimate interests, you may object based on your particular situation.
United Kingdom privacy rights
If you are in the UK, equivalent rights apply under the UK GDPR, with complaints handled by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Non-essential cookies are used only as described in the cookie policy.
United States privacy rights
Depending on where you live and where applicable to PornMeter, you may have privacy rights under U.S. state law — typically access, correction, deletion, portability and the right to opt out of "sale", "sharing" or targeted advertising where those occur. PornMeter does not sell personal information as most state laws define it. Submit requests via privacy@pornmeter.com.
Direitos dos titulares no Brasil
If you are in Brazil, the LGPD gives you rights of confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, deletion, portability, information about sharing, and revocation of consent, exercised via privacy@pornmeter.com, with complaints handled by the ANPD.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes; the current version, with its effective date, is always at this URL.
