What the Editorial Team does
The PornMeter Editorial Team is the corporate author of the reviews, category descriptions, comparison pages and rankings published on PornMeter. The team decides what gets reviewed, how categories are structured, what the written assessments say, and where each site ultimately ranks. Every published page on this platform is the team's responsibility, produced under the editorial policy.
What the team covers
The team maintains coverage across all 44 main categories of the directory — free tubes, premium networks, live cams, AI tools, games, hentai, dating, creator platforms and the rest — plus the specialized rankings built on top of them. Category expertise is distributed: the same reviewers repeatedly cover the same verticals, because a cam platform and a manga reader cannot be judged with the same checklist.
How reviews are produced
Reviews start from a structured data snapshot supplied by the Data & Research Team: what the site offers, how it behaves in a real browser, what it costs, how it monetizes. Editors turn that snapshot into a written assessment, add category context and comparative judgment, and assign the final Meter Score and position. Measurements inform the result; the editorial decision is the result. The framework is documented in the methodology.
How errors get fixed
Factual mistakes are corrected when reported and verified — the process is on the removal and corrections page. Disagreement with the team's opinion or with a ranking position is not, by itself, a correction.
Independence
The team's decisions are made independently of commercial relationships. Affiliate programs exist and fund the platform, but a standard affiliate relationship cannot purchase a score or a position — see the affiliate disclosure.
