Why we went shopping for Sankaku Complex alternatives
We like Sankaku Complex, and our Sankaku Complex review says so: a sprawling library, light ads, zero popups in our test and no account needed. Its tag graph is a thing of beauty. The catch is that the brand has two front doors, an editorial blog on the main domain and the image board on the chan subdomain. Most of you searching for sites like chan.sankaku want the board, not the news.
Reasons to wander are usually small. Maybe it's blocked where you live. Maybe mobile felt soft on your phone (it did on ours), or you just want a fresh pile of wank material with different taggers behind it.
Boards that kept our crew scrolling
FurAffinity won the peace and quiet contest: no ads at all, the biggest free share in the bunch, and a mobile layout that felt great one-handed. We'll let you guess what the other hand was doing. Rule 34 also ran ad-free, with no signup and zero popups.
For classic booru tag hunting that feels closest to the Sankaku routine, Gelbooru is our pick. Clean pages, no ads, quick on a phone. E621 and E-Hentai carry light ads but still threw zero popups at us, which is more than we can say for half the internet. ExHentai, Kemono, Derpibooru and HypnoHub round out the ad-free crowd.
Picking your next site like Sankaku
Want zero ads and the biggest free share? FurAffinity, easy. Watching on your phone in bed? Honestly, any of these boards will do, because every one we tested earned a strong mobile mark and none asked you to sign up.
If you crave the deep tag rabbit holes that hooked you on Sankaku in the first place, go Gelbooru or Rule34.us. For the full field side by side, our free hentai ranking lines up every contender. Sankaku stays in our spank bank either way. A backup or two never hurt anybody.
