Is Scatbooru free? Yes, and you don't need an account to start scrolling. Scatbooru is a booru, an image board where every post carries a stack of tags you can mix and match, and this one is devoted entirely to scatology. Every upload has poop in it or on it somewhere. That's the whole pitch, and the site commits to it harder than anything else our crew has opened.

09Derpibooru brings an ad-free, signup-free formula to cartoon-style hentai art, with a mobile site that's genuinely pleasant to thumb through.
10We went in expecting a dusty corner with forty pictures and a broken search bar. We came out with sore scrolling fingers. It's a fan art paradise for people with a very specific kink: anime heroines, game characters, cartoon casts, furries and slick 3D renders, all doing their business. One of us called it a fandom convention where the only panel is bathroom breaks, and nobody argued.
If brown is your color, this is home base. If you mostly want regular hentai with the occasional dirty scene, it's still a fun detour. Just know the menu has exactly one flavor.
The numbers caught us off guard. The plain scat tag alone pulls well north of 3,300 posts, which is funny, because every post here is scat whether it's tagged or not. The 1girl tag lands in the same ballpark, squatting clears 800, and Capcom characters alone run past 120. People keep uploading, so treat all of that as a floor.
Furries are a massive slice of the pie. Close to half of what we browsed starred animal characters, which turned the furry fan on our crew into a very happy camper. Team Fortress mercs show up too, so yes, even the gruff dudes from that game get their turn on the porcelain.
Human characters are everywhere: classic toilet and bowl scenes, plus some wild public accidents in thongs that had one tester laughing for a solid minute. Female-focused art outnumbers male stuff by a mile, though male and trans content is there if you dig. If you want this kink with live action too, our list of best scat porn sites has you covered.
Search is where the booru format earns its keep. You stack tags, so squatting plus a character name plus 3D shrinks a sea of posts down to the exact image you pictured in the shower. Our crew ran a contest to find the weirdest combo that still returned results. The winner involved a famous tomb raider and stays between us.
Tags are applied by fans, so accuracy depends on how patient the uploader was. Some posts are tagged to death, others carry three lonely labels. Our trick: search the character first, then narrow by style. We didn't lean on any recommendation feed; discovery mostly happened by clicking the tags under images we liked, which is honestly more fun anyway.
No videos to buffer here, it's an image board, so quality means the art itself. Three styles rule the place. The hentai scat posts lean heavily on panels lifted from manga, with a handful of original pieces mixed in. Cartoon uploads are the most original of the bunch, ranging from cheeky doodles to stuff with real love in the linework.
The 3D renders were the crew favorite. Artists get hold of models for famous game characters, Lara Croft being an obvious one, pose them on a toilet and add the mess. It's polished and instantly recognizable. Resolution varies by uploader, so a few older posts look a bit soft, but the renders we opened held up fine on a big monitor.
Here's the headline: our test this month logged no ads at all on Scatbooru. No popups, no overlays, no fake download buttons begging for a click. For a free fetish site, that's about as rare as a clean bathroom at a music festival.
There's no video player to fight with either. You click a thumbnail, the post opens with its tags underneath, and you either save it, click a tag or move on. Pages felt snappy for us on desktop, and the lack of ad clutter means your eyes stay on the art instead of some casino banner.
Downloads are simple because images are just images. Open the full post and save it like anything else in your browser, no gated button, no countdown. We built a respectable spank bank folder in one lunch break.
Signup isn't needed to look at anything we tried. Uploading is where the community side kicks in, and the upload flow felt about as painless as browsing. If you draw this stuff yourself, that's where an account makes sense, same as on most boorus.
The best feature is the people. Artists post here for exposure and because they genuinely want others to wank to their kink, and it shows. A lot of uploads feel like fan service first: someone loves a show so much that they drew its cast in the bathroom because nobody else would.
That passion means oddly niche requests get filled. Fans who only want one franchise can stay inside that franchise all night. Combine that with tag stacking and the zero ad clutter, and you get a place that feels more like a club than a content farm.
We didn't find a premium tier, a price list or any upgrade pitch on Scatbooru. Our test this month classed about 68% of what we hit as free to view, and nothing we wanted to see asked for a card. That's the classic booru deal: the community uploads, you browse.
So the cost is zero and the only thing you're paying with is your dignity. Fair trade, says the crew.
We didn't spot a Scatbooru app, so it's your phone browser all the way. We also don't have a mobile score for it yet, so take this as gut feel from our crew rather than a measurement.
Quick looks on a phone were fine. Long tagging sessions, where you're adding and removing five labels at a time, felt nicer on a laptop, so we stuck to desktop for the deep dives and the phone for a quick bathroom break scroll. Very on brand.
Straight talk: we don't have safety measurements for Scatbooru yet, and we couldn't confirm how it handles age checks. What we can say is that zero ads in our test means far fewer chances to click something nasty, and no signup to browse means no email sitting in a database.
Scat content is treated as extreme or restricted in some places, so check your local rules before you settle in. If the site won't load, it could be a regional block, your network filter or the site simply being down for a bit. Try again later or from another connection before assuming the worst.
On the basics it's close to a tie. All four rivals in our test match Scatbooru on free access and no-signup browsing, and none of them threw popups at us. So the fight comes down to focus and phones.
On mobile, FurAffinity, ExHentai and the Rule 34 crowd scored best in our test, with E621 a step behind; Scatbooru has no phone score yet, so they take that round. On content, the big boards like Rule 34 and E621 have more of everything, but you'll wade through a lot that isn't your kink. Scatbooru wins the moment you only want one thing, because every single post is on target.
If you came for the furry side, our FurAffinity review is the natural next stop. For a deeper manga archive with the odd scat doujin hiding inside, check our ExHentai review, just expect to search harder.

Yes. We browsed, searched and saved images without paying a cent or making an account. There was no paywall pitch anywhere we clicked, which fits how boorus usually run: fans upload, everyone else enjoys. If someone asks you for a card while you're on it, you've landed on a copycat page.
Mostly. Our test found zero ads, which cuts out the usual malware bait, and you never hand over an email just to look. We haven't measured its security in depth, so a decent ad blocker and updated browser are still smart. Also check that scat art is legal where you live.
Sometimes it's just the site. Boorus run on modest budgets and can blink out for a while. Other times your network, a school or office filter, or a regional block is the culprit. Try a different connection, clear your cache and give it an hour before declaring it gone for good.
No. At least none that we could find, so be wary of anything in an app store using the name. The site works in a regular phone browser, and saving it to your home screen gets you something close to an app icon. Bigger screens make heavy tag searching more comfortable.
No. We didn't see any paid tier, membership or price list during testing. Everything we wanted opened for free. The closest thing to paying is contributing your own art, which is what keeps the archive alive and growing, so artists are basically the site's premium members in spirit.
Four boards top our list: FurAffinity, E621, Rule 34 and ExHentai. They're broader, so you'll get way more variety and have to filter harder to find scat posts. The furry boards suit animal art fans, while ExHentai leans toward manga. None of them matches Scatbooru's single-minded focus, though.
